After spending a year traveling across Ohio teaching workshops, I knew it was time to grow. I opened an Etsy shop with a big idea: become one of the first Etsy sellers to successfully design and ship complete garden kits with live plants and soil safely delivered right to customers' doors.
Today, Party’n With Plants has grown into a thriving e-commerce business serving plant lovers across the country.
In addition to shipping thousands of DIY plant kits, we host virtual plant parties for companies, organizations, families, and friends, while still traveling throughout Ohio to teach the local workshops that started it all.
How Our Journey Got Started
Partyn With Plants began in 2017 with a simple goal—to earn a little extra income while raising a young family. At the time, I was a new mom working a full-time job, looking for a creative side hustle that I could truly enjoy.
What started as teaching fairy garden and succulent workshops at local businesses throughout Ohio quickly became so much more. I discovered that my favorite part wasn't just the plants—it was meeting incredible people, sharing creativity, and watching both kids and adults light up as they built their own magical miniature gardens. Seeing someone who claimed they didn't have a "green thumb" leave excited and confident with a beautiful creation was the best feeling.
Whether you're joining us online, attending one of our local events, or opening a kit at home, our mission remains the same: to make plants fun, approachable, and memorable while helping people create something beautiful together.
